Review:

Reflecting the traditions and history of the Central Coast, Barbareno is one of Santa Barbara’s most stylish restaurants. This restaurant’s interior features hardwood floors, grand windows, pendant lighting, and decorative ceiling panels. The décor creates an open, airy, and homey feel to this modern restaurant. The New American menu changes seasonally to take advantage of the region’s abundant local produce. Menu items include Hamachi Crudo, Panzanella, Duck Bao Bun, and Oak Tagliatelle with acorn, wild mushrooms, charred oak broth, and smoked vegetables. Guests should try the Especial – lamb al pastor, fermented masa flatbread, shishito peppers, goat gouda, and salsa verde.
