The Gateway Lodge in Cook Forest has been welcoming adventure-seeking guests since 1934. The lodge is located south of the Allegheny National Forest, close to the scenic Clarion River. Here, surrounded by old-growth forests, couples and families can enjoy getting back to nature without giving up their home comforts. 2 and 3 bedroom cabins are tucked away in the woods and offer everything you need for a comfortable break including full kitchens, outdoor BBQ grills, proper bathrooms and TV and Internet. If you don’t feel like cooking you can enjoy casual meals at the Wild Crafter’s Kitchen or a 3-course menu at the Taste of the Wilds Restaurant.
