Also under the management of Cook Forest Cabins, there are seven cabins and a lodge, located near Clarington, between the Cook Forest and Clear Creek State Parks. The cabins sleep between 2 and 8 people and Cider House Lodge can accommodate up to 16 people, in four bedrooms and a loft area. Pets are allowed and there is a 20% discount in winter. There are several activities in the area, including half marathons, geocaching and county fairs. Trout season opens in mid-April. The Kids Fishing Derby, the Living History weekend, Festival of the Trees and Snowmen in the Forest are some of the region's annual events.
