The Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve is a 50-acre reserve at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. The Nature Reserve is a beautiful recreation destination with over two miles of trails, a pond, wetlands, a meadow, a garden, certified play spaces, native plantings, an Environmental Learning Barn, the Historic Lochry Blockhouse and more. The Reserve is open to the public. Winnie Palmer was a wife of renowned golfer Arnold Palmer, who spearheaded the efforts of local community to prevent developing of the land on which the reserve now stands, as it would ruin the scenery and the view of the Basilica and the Saint Vincent College Campus.
