Latrobe is a city in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania and part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. It is located near Pennsylvania's scenic Chestnut Ridge. Latrobe is the home of Saint Vincent Archabbey and Saint Vincent College. Latrobe was the home of golfer Arnold Palmer. His wife Winnie Palmer spearheaded the community effort to create The Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve, a 50-acre reserve at Saint Vincent College. Lincoln Highway Experience is a museum that features 100 years long history of Lincoln Highway, the first coast-to-coast highway in the country. St. Vincent Archabbey Gristmill is a historic mill built in 1854, a part of Saint Vincent Archabbey, still in operation.
