The Stone Quarry Hill Art Park (SQHAP) is a unique day trip destination for anyone interested in art and nature. The park was originally a private summer home and studio for artist Dorothy Riester and her husband but was later opened to the public to provide inspiration for other budding sculptors and artists. The park offers regular exhibitions (check their website for current offerings) and visitors are welcome to come and spend a day enjoying peace and tranquility as you explore the permanent sculpture collection on foot via the Secret Garden, Hilltop, Woodland and Vista trails. You are welcome to bring along a picnic to enjoy in the gardens. Guided tours are offered on weekends.
