Who would have thought that one of the largest private collections of Harley Davidson motorcycles would be found at a diner in the Tar Heel State of North Carolina? Turns out, not a lot of people. But that’s exactly what visitors can look forward to at the American Classic Motorcycle Museum, a two-story museum, and diner in Asheboro. The museum is stuffed with incredible vintage motorcycles and Harley Davidson memorabilia but also features an art gallery and even a corner to purchase motorcycle parts and avail of big bike services. Make sure to stay for a meal among several American motorcycle classics at the Heritage Diner, which serves up classic American food from Monday through Saturday.
