Review:

The historic Dutch House Tavern occupies a building which dates back to around 1756. It is thought that the structure was originally a simple single-story farmhouse, built with the characteristic red sandstone which is found throughout Bergen County. Although the original Dutch House has seen several renovations and additions over the years, the wonderful atmosphere still remains and contributes to the tavern’s popularity. In keeping with its “local pub” style, the tavern serves traditional pub food including appetizers, salads, sandwiches and burgers. There are several wines available by the glass or bottle and a selection of bottled and draft beers.
