The idea behind Huttopia White Mountains, aptly named for its location in the scenic White Mountains of New Hampshire, originally began in France in the beautiful Alps. Campers can choose from three levels of comfort at Huttopia for their camping experience. These include the traditional camping pitched tent, spacious and comfortable glamping tents, and the luxury cabins. Located about ten minutes away from North Conway, the campsites feature picnic tables and fire pits. The multi-room glamping tents include a stove and fridge and the luxe cabins range from tiny house-style cabins to large chalets with numerous amenities.

2. Camp Ogontz

Camp Ogontz offers various sites for glamping getaways that range from the Adirondack-style and open-sided cabins situated within close proximity to the shower and restroom facilities to the indoor, medium-size log cabins that feature their own plumbing and enclosed bedrooms. Made up of over 90 indoor and outdoor cabins that can accommodate anywhere from one to six people, the grounds of Camp Ogontz also feature the charming rustic Dining Hall facility, which serves three full meals every day to campers. In addition to the indoor dining hall, guests can also dine outdoors on the wrap-around deck during the warmer months.

3. Bearcamp River Campground

Situated near the town of West Ossipee, New Hampshire, the Bearcamp River Campground provides a peaceful and scenic camping area that also serves as a good gateway to the state’s White Mountain range and White Mountain National Forest. Situated near the campground’s namesake Bearcamp River, this camping spot is on the smaller side, and while it doesn’t include many bells and whistles, it still offers everything needed for a fun camping experience in a peaceful wooded setting. Much of the campsites at the Bearcamp River Campground are set near the river, which provides opportunities for canoeing, swimming, and fishing.

4. Bear Rock Mountain Top Escape

Fireflies and a Love Story
is a unique and private glamping site near Newport, New Hampshire, located just minutes away from theatre, shopping, and lakes and easily reached only a short distance from two interstates. Guests will travel through rolling pastures on their way to their own private pasture. Near the campsite is a cool flowing stream, stonewalls, and wooded trails. A privacy tent screens the outdoor privy, while a screened tent is also provided for the dining area. Small extras like tractor rides, blueberries, and farm fresh eggs are sometimes provided as well at the Fireflies and a Love Story.
