Odiorne Point State Park is a state park on the seacoast in Rye near Portsmouth that features several attractions like the Seacoast Science Center and the remains of the World War II Fort Dearborn. Named after the Odiorne family, who settled on the land in the mid-1660s, the park is the site of the first European settlement in New Hampshire known as Pannaway Plantation and is commemorated by a memorial in the park. The park has sweeping panoramic views of the ocean and rocky shore and offers charming spots for picnicking and an extensive network of trails wind through the dense vegetation and traverse the park. The Sunken Forests of New Hampshire is close to Odiorne Point in the park.
