The Chestnut Street Inn is a bed and breakfast within the Chestnut Hill National Historic District that provides a unique experience. It is inside a 1905 Grand Colonial Revival home that is among the most fully restored and distinctive homes in Asheville. There are a total of eight guest accommodations, including six rooms, a suite, and a Zen retreat.

The rooms have amenities such as TVs, wireless internet, writing desks, plush robes, whirlpool tubs, showers, spacious private bathrooms, king-sized beds, and/or gas fireplaces. The Zen retreat adds a walk-in shower with a steam option, a mini fridge, and a sitting area along with a truly relaxing design while the suite adds a full-sized fridge, dining table, microwave, kitchenette, and living room but has a queen-sized bed.

Guests will be entranced by the unique furnishings and décor of the Chestnut Street Inn, including its original staircase, courting bench, high ceilings, spacious outdoor porches, and ornate mantles. Everywhere you look there is art from local artists and an eclectic combination of furnishings. Guests are treated to breakfast every morning, with coffee served even earlier. The menu varies and dietary restrictions are easily met with advance notice. In the afternoon, guests can enjoy fresh homemade cookies and tea.
