Beautiful seascape scenery, sandy beaches, and some stunning sunrises and sunsets are just a few of the draws to the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Visitors can take a boat to one of the barrier islands, where they will find historic forts and buildings, or just enjoy the beaches and landscapes of the park and the scenic trails where visitors can go hiking or biking. And then of course, there is the water, which presents a perfect opportunity for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, and more.
