The Dahlem Conservancy in Jackson, Michigan is a natural history education center for kids. It is also known for having one of the largest bluebird trails where birders can capture the songs of Eastern Bluebirds along the trail. The center has five miles of hiking trails surrounded by forests, fields, marshes and ponds where visitors can enjoy a guided hike or go on their own. The mission of the Center is to bridge the gap between the human and the natural environment, to function as an outdoor laboratory for school field trips, workshops and public programs. Dahlem’s facilities are available for rentals, including Pavilion located near the visitor center.
