Review:

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is dedicated to the grand art collection of Isabella Stewart Gardner. An elegant courtyard surrounds a Venetian-style palazzo that houses masterpieces of art and architectural elements purchased by Gardner from Europe, providing a unique art museum experience in Boston. The personal collection of Gardner is reflective of luxury of ancient cultures, a bohemian lifestyle, and her desire for travel. She herself arranged the museum’s collection of over 7,500 decorative and fine art objects, over 2,600 manuscripts and books, and more than 8,000 historical objects from all over the world.
