Review:
Trillium Brewing Company was opened in March of 2013 by JC and Esther Tetreault, modeled after the idea of a traditional New England farmhouse-style brewery. The brewery specializes in wild ales and hop-forward beers that utilize locally-sourced ingredients, offering several locations throughout the greater Boston region, including its flagship Fort Point location, which was recently remodeled in 2018, and its Canton taproom and production facility. Drafts and to-go sales available at both locations include the brewery’s Citra Free Rise Saison, Fort Point Pale Ale, Wetsuit Triple IPA, and fruit-soaked American wild ales. A Fated Farmer series highlights barrel-aged fermented wild ales, while a Permutation series focuses on European styles and experimental brews. Nitro cold brew coffee from Barrington's Commonwealth Roast is also served on site, and special events are presented at both locations, including comedy nights, food truck pop-ups, and yoga events.
