Marie Laveau's House of Voodoo is a tiny shop and museum on Bourbon Street that specializes in all things psychic and voodoo. Located in the former home of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau II, the second Voodoo Queen of New Orleans, the quirky store and museum sell a variety of many Voodoo-related items, spiritual items, and books. The store also features a Voodoo Altar and has a back room where visitors can experience spiritual readings, spells, and Tarot card readings. Once the home of the daughter of the first Voodoo Queen of New Orleans who was known for her wild rituals in the swamps around New Orleans, the building is thought to be haunted with the ghost of Marie Laveau. Marie Laveau's House of Voodoo is open Monday through Sunday.
