Located across the road from City Hall, Manhattan City Park is one of Manhattan’s oldest parks. While the city park is managed as a “high volume use” park, it still offers abundant space for picnics and quiet conversations across more than forty acres. The nationally recognized Arts in the Park summer entertainment series is hosted at the large outdoor stage. Manhattan City Park also features an aquatic center, splash park, playground, a multi-use and mile-long perimeter trail, a basketball court, lighted tennis courts, ball fields, daylily gardens, a rose garden, picnic shelters, GTM Family Center, and a seasonal ice rink.
