The Timberline Campground, just a few miles from Des Moines, is nestled away from everything right on the edge of Waukee. Conveniently located less than two miles off of I-80, the campground facilities and amenities include wireless internet, a laundry room, a dump station, propane, a volleyball court, a basketball court, a dog park, recreation hall, playground, clean restroom facilities, picnic areas, a swimming pool, rental cabins, a camp store, and even Iowa wines. The store sells toys, ice cream, groceries, ice, RV supplies, and firewood. Arcade games, a ping pong table, and a pool table can be found in the Rec Hall.
