Located on a little back street just off Plaza Nueva, Bar Casa Julio is a popular meeting place for locals and the tourists lucky enough to find it. Always crowded, Casa Julio has a reputation for serving some of the best Tapas in Granada. Most guests order their drinks (and accompanying free small plate) at the bar, but there are also a few small tables outside on a pretty patio where you can relax and enjoy your meal. The restaurant serves a wide selection of traditional tapas in full portions or half portions – you can choose a selection and share. Menu favorites include fried calamari, marinated monk fish and beautiful fried anchovies.
