Surrounded by acres of sagebrush and massive white sand dunes, Seminoe State Park is home to thousands of sage grouse and pronghorn antelope, as well as a great setting for camping under the blue skies of Wyoming. Situated a little more than thirty miles from Rawlins, the park features the North Platte River’s “Miracle Mile,” the Seminoe Reservoir, and the “moon-like” Seminoe Mountains. Excellent trout fishing can be found on the “Miracle Mile” and the reservoir contains both walleye and trout. There are also numerous campsites throughout Seminoe State Park, available on a first-come, first-served basis with grills and tables.
