Guernsey State Park is a very popular destination for history buffs in southeastern Wyoming, a hub for numerous relics of days gone by. The grounds are home to some of the country’s best examples of wagon ruts along the Oregon Trail, along with miles of trails. There are seven different camping areas throughout the park’s boundaries, a few featuring yurts for a unique camping experience, and five campgrounds along the waterfront. Each of the campgrounds in Guernsey State Park offers drinking water, fire grills, picnic tables, and comfort station. There is also a dump station near the park’s south entrance.
