Set on a scenic wooded hill by Yellowstone’s Lewis Lake, the Lewis Lake Campground offers a tranquil setting that is still a close distance from Grant Village and its several facilities. Open from mid-June through early November, the campground is often one of the last ones in Yellowstone National Park to fill up. For campers looking to spot a moose, Lewis Lake may be a perfect camping destination, as the lake shores are one of the best places to view them. Paddling, kayaking, and fishing on the lake are also popular activities around the Lewis Lake Campground, along with hiking.
