Oakwood Lakes State Park is a pristine park surrounded by eight connecting glacial lakes northwest of Brookings that provides a wealth of activities throughout the year.

Oakwood Lakes State Park has several shaded campgrounds with 136 campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, restrooms with hot showers and flushing toilets and potable water, and six overnight cabins. The park also offers recreational pursuits such as hiking, mountain biking, ice fishing, and cross-country skiing, as well as fishing, boating, swimming on Johnson Lake, and Lake Tetonkaha. The park also has camping facilities for horseback riders and wranglers and a disc golf course, as well as equipment rentals for canoes, kayaks, fishing, and snowshoeing.
