Ross Lake National Recreation Area offers a wealth of outdoor and recreational activities in one of the most beautiful parts of north-central Washington. Situated just south of the Canada and US border, the National Recreation Area, is part of the North Cascades National Park Complex, which includes Lake Chelan National Recreation Area and the North Cascades National Park. Ross Lake National Recreation Area boasts three reservoirs, namely Diablo Lake, Gorge Lake, and Ross Lake, and offers camping, hiking, and an array of water-based activities on the lake, such as boating, fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking and wildlife watching.
