Canyonlands National Park is located in Moab, Utah is a wilderness of amazingly formed buttes and countless canyons that have been carved out by the Colorado River, as well as its tributaries. These rivers divide up the park into four different areas: the rivers, The Maze, The Needles, and the Island in the Sky. Each of these districts share a desert atmosphere, however, they also offer different adventure and sightseeing opportunities. Visitors will find spires, arches, fins, buttes, mesas, and colorful canyons across the more than 337,000 acres of Canyonlands National Park, right in the heart of the high desert of southeast Utah.
