The historic town of Occoquan was established back in 1804 and offers history and art lovers a great day out. Here you can see rows of pretty old building along the river and have the opportunity to meet local Occoquan artists and visit their studios and galleries.
You can find all the information you need at the Prince Williams County Information Center in Mill Street and then spend your day doing a self-guided walking tour of the town.
For some outdoor recreation you can head to River Mill Park where you can go walking and hiking or you could spend some time enjoying a variety of water activities on the Occoquan River.
