At Stonewall Creek Vineyards, the ancient mountain soil provides fertile grounds perfect for harvesting a range of grapes. Originally from the midwest, owners Carl and Carla Fackler moved out to Georgia in 1977. In 2012, they began growing at Stonewall Creek. Since their wines have won awards year after year including for their two dry European vinifera wines, 2014 Boriana (Petit Manseng), 2014 Cabernet Franc, and the 2015 Yukari Dry Rosé Blend. In the Sautee Tasting Room, guests can sample Stonewall Creek wines like malbecs, cabernet francs, petit verdots, tannats, petit mansengs, and cabernet sauvignons all year round while enjoying live music.
