Situated in Blue Ridge, Georgia, Bear Claw Vineyards & Winery, Inc sets the ideal atmosphere for sipping wines with friends. 3. Boutier Winery & Inn
Located 80 minutes of Atlanta, Boutier Winery & Inn is a full-service winery, inn, and events venue located in Danielsville, Georgia. From reds to whites, the winery produces many varieties available for purchase and tasting including its Chardonnay Madison County, Cabernet Sauvignon Madison County, Diva’Licious, and Absolutely Sinful. Boutier Winery also provides a perfect venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, and other celebrations. Greenery, vineyards, and a unique wine barrel fountain create a tasteful, gorgeous atmosphere for celebrating milestone moments. 5. Cartecay Vineyards
The Cartecay Vineyards sit just outside of Ellijay, Georgia nestled in the heart of the southern Appalachian Mountains. During a visit, wine lovers can tour the vineyards and sip on different Cartecay productions in the tasting barn. Each week, the vineyard entertains guests with live music by local and regional musicians. The rolling mountains provide the ideal backdrop for outdoor weddings and other celebrations. 6. Cavender Creek Vineyards
Cavender Creek Vineyards gives a chance to experience the great outdoors while enjoying locally produced wines. Unlike other Georgian wineries, Cavender has a unique “Cabin-in-the-Vines” experience in which guests can stay overnight in an authentic 1820s log cabin. This glamping adventure gives a rustic feeling while still including modern comforts and amenities. In the tasting room, wine lovers can sip on Cavender Creek productions along with a selection of wine slushies, sangrias, and craft beers. 7. CeNita Vineyards, Winery & Tasting Room
At CeNita Vineyards, Winery & Tasting Room, misty mountain air and rolling vineyards provide an idyllic place to enjoy locally produced wines. Located in Cleveland, Georgia, CeNita Vineyards open from 11:30 AM to 6 PM or until 7 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. The winery first opened five decades ago after the founders, Cecil and Juanita Crumley, purchased the farmland. The vineyard’s name comes from the combination of Cecil and Juanita. The vineyard has remained in the family, who continues running the property through the power of “faith, hope, and love”. CeNita hosts both indoor and outdoor weddings, executive retreats, corporate meetings, and other events.

8. Chateau Vineyard & Winery
Blue skies, rolling mountains, and lush, green vineyards form the backdrop of the Chateau Vineyard & Winery. The vineyard’s owner, Stephan Meichtry, came from Switzerland to America before making his dream of founding a winery come to life. Today, his family carries on the tradition producing different varietals of wine in the Northern Georgia mountains. Joining the bottle club gives access to discounted cases and exclusive tastings. From reds to whites, popular Chateau wines include the Ellijay Christmas White and Red, Cyzer, Viognier, Vidal Blanc, and Zinfandel. The winery hosts private events as well as live music and parties for the public.

9. Crane Creek Vineyards
Perched high on the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northern Georgia, Crane Creek Vineyards provides a picturesque place to try locally produced wines. Although just two hours away from Atlanta, the vineyard gives a place to escape from the city and enjoy the fresh mountain air. In the tasting room, visitors can sip wines, dine on tapas, and listen to live music. Guests can tour the winery every Saturday at 2 PM for $30 per guest. Tours end with a tasting and cheese platter. Crane Creek Vineyards closes on Mondays, but opens from 11 AM to 6 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, and 1 PM to 5 PM on Sundays.

10. Currahee Vineyard & Winery
Currahee Vineyard & Winery produces traditional Georgian wines in the “shadow of Ol’ Currahee”. From sparkling wines to robust reds, Currahee has produced and bottled a range of varietals since 2008. The family-owned establishment started out as an apple orchard before switching their endeavors to making hand-crafted wines. The winery hosts tastings and live music each week, posting upcoming events on the website. The 24-acre estate serves as an ideal location for indoor and outdoor private events as well with views of the vineyards and Currahee Mountains. Those living outside of Georgia can still enjoy Currahee wines as the company ships to 35 states.
