Review:
Based on a desire to serve “elevated American bistro fare”, the Matchbox chain of restaurants started with a single location in Washington DC in 2002. As proof that their concept is popular, the chain has expanded to 10 other locations, including the Sawgrass Mill in Sunrise. The mainstay of their restaurant will always be their perfectly-prepared wood-fired pizzas, but they also serve a selection of other American bistro favorites including hamburgers, salads and whatever the chef deems to be a good “Dish of the Day”. The chain sources as many ingredients as possible from local suppliers in each area, which means your meal is as fresh as it gets.
