Review:

Established by the enthusiastic members of the South Florida Amateur Astronomers Association, the Fox Observatory in Markham Park is open to the public every Saturday night. The observatory boasts several excellent pieces of viewing equipment, some of which have very interesting origins, which you can learn about during your visit. The primary tool used to observe the magnificent solar system is a 14-inch reflecting telescope, and a sophisticated remote mechanism is used to manipulate the observatory roof dome. Many of the members of the association bring their own telescopes which are set up around the observatory, and are happy to share their sightings with visitors.
