Stretching along a 3-mile section of Gulf Drive (SR 789), BBradenton Beach Scenic Highway is a very scenic waterfront highway corridor. The beautifully maintained pedestrian-friendly by-way attracts many local residents who come to walk, jog or cycle along the landscaped edge-of-the-sea paved by-way. The highway is dotted with popular family-friendly restaurants, beautiful beaches, picnic areas and boat ramps where you can access the waters of the Gulf Coast. Amenities along the highway include bicycle rentals, boat tours, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling and bird watching. There is nearby parking for vehicles including busses. Many visitors choose to just relax on a bench and watch the world go by.
