Chez Paul Gourmet Restaurant was originally opened as the Green Dolphin tavern, overseen by former Daytona Beach mayor Paul Carpenell before its transfer to its current ownership and branding in 1999. Today, the intimate restaurant showcases high-end French and Italian fare Wednesdays through Saturdays at dinner service, offering garden patio seating and stunning Halifax River waterfront views. Diners can enjoy upscale land entree options such as steak au poivre, German pork schnitzel, veal piccata, and chicken marsala or select from seafood-focused fare such as pan-seared Chilean sea bass prepared with macadamia nuts or shrimp Papa Paolo with lemon butter and white wine sauce. Reservations are strongly recommended to ensure table service.
