Review:

The Manatee Springs State Park protects one of Florida’s many first-magnitude springs, which produces a flow of over 100 cubic feet of water per second. People have been enjoying the waters here for many thousands of years, as have a wide variety of animals and birds which you can observe as you explore the 800 foot boardwalk through the cypress forest. If you visit during the cooler months you may be lucky enough to spot a rare endangered manatee. You can enjoy great canoeing and kayaking along the spring run, and other activities include swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving, walking, running and hiking as well as boating and camping.
