Located around the scenic Blue Spring which gushes into a spring run to feeds the pristine Suwannee River, the Lafayette Blue Springs State Park is a great destination for a family vacation. You can bring your tent to the campground (or rent one of the quaint vacation cabins which are perched on stilts along the river bank. Family outdoor activities include swimming in the year-round 72-degree waters of the spring, crossing the natural limestone bridge, exploring the nature trail, horse-back riding, paddling and boating. The picnic area has two pavilions which are great for group get-togethers. Proficient scuba divers can explore the extensive Green Sink underwater cave system.
