The Winter Park Historical Museum is the official museum facility of the Winter Park Historical Association, which strives to preserve the civic and social history of the Winter Park region throughout the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. The museum is located within Winter Park's historic railroad depot building and showcases a wide variety of exhibits related to the region's economy, schools, tourism, and culture, including artifacts related to the city's Colony Theatre and businesses connected to its former turpentine industry. Visitors can explore the museum for free Tuesdays through Saturdays during the morning and afternoon hours. Information is also available for a free-self guided walking tour of historical sites throughout Winter Park, including the city's Original Winter Park Library, Park Plaza Hotel, and First Methodist and All Saints Episcopal Churches.
