Lakeridge Winery is Florida's largest winery, overseen by the Seavin corporation, which also owns the state's second-largest winery, San Sebastian. The winery was opened to the public in 1989 and is known for its production of wines using native bronze Carlos, red Noble, and Welder Muscatine grapes, along with traditional Chardonnay, pinot grigio, and cabernet sauvignon varietals. Free tours and tastings are offered each day at the 127-acre winery estate, available every 30 minutes during the morning and afternoon hours. 45-minute tours showcase the history of wine grape growing in Florida and the company's winemaking, bottling, and labeling processes, led by experienced and informative tour guides. Following tours, visitors over the age of 21 with valid IDs are welcome to taste a selection of the company's award-winning dry, sweet, and sparkling wines.
