Swamp Head Brewery was founded in 2008 and creates a variety of world-class brews in its environmentally-friendly brewery, which is noted as a carbon-neutral facility that focuses on domestic sourcing and reuse policies. The brewery’s taproom is open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays, with brewery tours available on select days for groups of 15 or less. Five taps are dedicated to the brewery’s year-round beers, including its Wild Night Honey Cream Ale, Cottonmouth Belgian Witbier, Stump Knocker Pale Ale, Midnight Oil Coffee Stout, and Big Nose IPA. Seasonal offerings also include brews such as its Hydroslide Dry-Hopped Kolsch, Day Trippin’ Session IPA, and Hoggetowne Irish Red Ale. Growler fills and to-go sales are offered, along with a variety of public special events, including Taco Tuesday nights and periodic themed parties.
