Riptide Brewing Company was the vision of friends Scott Alexander, Bob Menzies, and Norm Scherner, former homebrewers who converted their passion into a small business that opened to the public in November of 2015. The Naples brewery features a 10 barrel brewhouse and fermentation tanks on display in the middle of its taproom facility for guests to view ongoing operations. Approximately a dozen of the brewery’s beers are tapped at any given time, including its Beach Please American Guava Wheat Ale, Drop Anchor IPA, Hochwasser Hefeweizen, Wye Nut Brown, and Anklebuster Amber Ale. Flights are available for purchase, along with to-go and growler sales. Public special events include live music performances, Irish music jam sessions, and Trivia Tuesday events.
