Hourglass Brewing was founded in 2012 by two Longwood friends who funded their dream to create a microbrewery with sales of personal toy and musical instrument collections. The brewery crafts world-class brews showcasing both local and international ingredients, striving to create nuanced, highly drinkable flavor profiles. Popular brews include the brewery’s Giant Giant Dward, Cloudberry Farmhouse, and Stormgazer barrel-aged brews within its barrel program and its Sourglass line of foeder-fermented farmhouse ales. Its 240-seat taproom displays works by local artists and offers tabletop and console games, hosting periodic live music and comedy night events. Its patio also offers dog-friendly service.
