The Health Museum (aka The John McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science) exists to stimulate curiosity and wonder about the human body, heath and medical science. This popular museum is one of the most-visited interactive science learning centers in the country, attracting more than 2.5 million visitors each year. There are always new exhibits in the pipeline, but currently the most popular attractions include a massive beating heart and a Texas-sized walk through brain in the Amazing Body Gallery and the DeBakey Cell Lab where children get to dress up in lab coats, gloves and goggles as they make their way through experiment stations.
