The Museum and Library of Confederate History in downtown Greenville, South Carolina houses a large collection of Confederate artifacts and relics, both personal and military. It also contains a gift shop and a research library. Situated in the Pettigru Historic District, the museum is dedicated to preserving the artifacts, history, and memory of the South’s cultural heritage and its contribution to the country. Among the items included in the Museum and Library of Confederate History’s collection are history books, newspapers, letters, clothing, currency, edged weapons, flags, photographs, and firearms. There is no fee for admission to the museum.
