Review & FAQ:
Explore the history and government of the state of Oklahoma at the Oklahoma State Capitol building. This Greco-Roman structure, built in 1915, contains 600 rooms and 11 acres of space. Inside, visitors will find large murals depicting the history of the state, as well as art exhibits, statues, and the Oklahoma Veterans Memorial.
Outside, guests can stroll the beautifully landscaped grounds and see the working oil derricks on-site. 45-minute guided tours are offered on the hour, Monday through Friday. Admission is free, and there is a gift shop on the premises.
