Oklahoma is full of history, and that history comes alive at the Oklahoma History Center. This massive structure covers over 200,000 square feet and is situated on 18 acres of land across from the state capitol building.

Inside, five galleries full of high-quality exhibits and state-of-the-art technology showcase various topics on Oklahoma history such as geology, commerce, Native American culture, settlers, aviation, and more. The museum offers special classes and programs for children and adults, as well as living history presentations and tours. The museum is open Monday through Saturday and is closed on major holidays.
