Review:

Aurum Food and Wine, which is named for the Latin word for "gold," opened its Breckenridge location in 2018, overseen by restaurateur Phillips Armstrong of Tangerine and Hush Concepts fame. Excellent New American fare served up at dinner includes osso bucco lamb shanks with saffron risotto, pacifico striped bass with sunchokes, honey-spiced duck breast with soy jus and hazelnut dukkah, and Colorado chicken roulade curry. Shareable plates range from hamachi crudo and foie gras mandarin to a full raw bar, serving up East and West Coast oysters alongside daily ceviche selections. Signature classic and modern cocktails are available from the restaurant's bar, along with white and red wines and bottled and draft beers.
