The Gothic Theatre in Englewood, Colorado is a music venue that was formerly a movie theater. The theater was originally built in the 1920s and was the first location in the state of Denver to show talkies, or motioned picture with synchronized sound. Visitors today will still be able to see some of the original aspects of the building such as the rounded walls and recessed inlets. Though it shut down for many years in between, the theatre was renovated and reopened in 1998 as a music venue.
