If you’ve ever wanted to sit back, relax, and watch Colorado’s breathtaking scenery roll by, a train trip is one of the best ways to do it. I’ve taken a few of these myself. There’s just something magical about winding through the mountains, past rivers, forests, and old mining towns. You can just relax taking in the scenery without having to worry about driving.

Train rides in Colorado are all about beautiful scenery. Snow-capped peaks are ever-present. Each turn reveals something new. Here are my favorite train routes in Colorado.
