Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark is a fully operational working farm that offers families and friends an authentic farm experience. The farm provides a variety of activities for all ages, ranging from educational farm tours, picking fruit and vegetables, shopping at the Farm Market, and visiting animals and enjoying pony rides at the Farm Animal Center. The Farm Market sells a variety of fresh farm produce such as fruit and vegetables, homemade and jarred products, healthy snacks and beverages, while Educational Farm Tours teach learners about farm life and teach them how to pick fruit and vegetables. Underwood Family Farms hosts a variety of festivals, including Easter on the Farm, the Fall Harvest Festival, and Christmas on the Farm in December.

America's Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College

Moorpark College’s student-run America's Teaching Zoo is a five-acre zoo that is part of the college's Exotic Animal Training and Management Program and home to more than 200 exotic animals and birds, ranging from alligators and elephants to camels, tigers, emus, and ocelots. The low-key, volunteer-managed zoo affords visitors the opportunity to see a variety of unusual animals and learn more about them with animal demonstrations and shows which are presented throughout the week. There are Discovery Stations and Animal Encounters throughout the day, and the zoo hosts various events throughout the year. America's Teaching Zoo features are open every weekend and promise a fun day out for the whole family.

High Street Arts Center

The High Street Arts Center is a beautiful old theater in old town Moorpark that presents high-quality theatrical performances, concerts, classic movies and more. Based in a charming circa-1927 movie house on High Street, the aptly named High Street Arts Center has been revamped to include modern technologies with state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment, a retractable movie screen, and a new marquee. The community theater also offers a range of educational programs and drama classes for up-and-coming actors and hosts a variety of special events and functions throughout the year.

Enegren Brewing Company

Enegren Brewing Company is a local craft brewery on Zachary Street that produces a range of unique lager-style beers from traditional German-style lagers to hoppy American-style pilsners. Founded in 2010 by Chris and Matt Enegren and Joe Nascenzi, the independently-owned craft brewery focuses on German-Inspired beers and lager-style beers and produces six beers year-round, including Enegren IPA, Lagertha, The Lightest One, Valkyrie, Schoner Tag, and Nighthawk. The brewery also produces several rotating seasonal brews, as well as numerous special release and one-off brews that push the boundaries of regular lager craft beer. Enegren Brewing Company beers can be sampled in the tasting room, which is open Monday through Sunday at various hours.
