Review:

Luther Burbank's Experiment Farm stands as the last remaining example of the ‘Gold Ridge District,’ a farm purchased by famed plant breeder Luther Burbank in 1885. Burbank bought his 15-acre farm on Gold Ridge in the late 1880s, and during his career, he introduced over 800 varieties of grains, fruits, vegetables, and flowers to the area of Sebastopol. Today, the Luther Burbank's Gold Ridge Experiment Farm spans just three acres of what was once the original farm and visitors can enjoy self-guided tours -with free trail maps found from the kiosk and barn. Docent-guided tours are available by reservation.
