Victoria Gardens is a 147-acre mall open-air shopping mall in Rancho Cucamonga and is home to the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center, which houses the Rancho Cucamonga Public Library, a performing arts center, and a multi-use reception hall. In addition to a variety of brand stores and shops, the mall offers a range of amenities and services including free wireless Internet, ATMs, copy and fax services, lost and found, postage services, stroller, and wheelchair services, safety escorts, and lottery tickets. There is also a visitor’s information center where customers can get all the information they need about the mall, the shops, and the services offered.

2. The Pacific Electric Inland Empire Trail

The Pacific Electric Inland Empire Trail is an 18.4-mile commuter and recreation trail in the western San Bernadino Valley that follows the old Pacific Electric Railway, which was known for its red cars and boasts lovely panoramic views of the city. The heavily trafficked point-to-point trail features two sides - a 10-foot-wide, concrete path for bikes and decomposed granite side for hiking, jogging, running and horseback riding and is suitable for all skill levels. The track also has an asphalt section that winds through residential neighborhoods and commercial corridors in Upland and terminates in Fontana. When complete, the Pacific Electric Inland Empire Trail will run 21 miles east-west between Rialto and Claremont with the possibility for connecting to a massive network of pathways that include the San Gabriel River Trail and the Santa Ana River Trail.

The North Etiwanda Preserve was established in 1998 to provide refuge for several rare and endangered species and features several attractions such as the Etiwanda Falls and the Etiwanda Falls Trail. Resting in the foothills of the Cucamonga Wilderness, the Etiwanda Falls is a magical oasis of cascading water and lush greenery in the midst of Southern California’s desert landscapes and is a popular site for hikers in the Inland Empire. The Etiwanda Falls Trail is a 3.4-mile out-and-back trail that bypasses the Etiwanda Falls and is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and birding, while the North Etiwanda Falls and Preserve Loop is a 4.7-mile lightly trafficked loop trail that also features a waterfall and is best used from April until September.

The Cucamonga Service Station is a beautifully restored service station that was built in 1915 and now stands as a house museum showcasing the history of Route 66 and the local area today. Developed by local citizen Henry Klusman during the early years of Cucamonga, the station was once a pit stop for travelers on the legendary highway running from Chicago to Santa Monica and through the Inland area is reminiscent of the typical roadside architecture of the 1920s, 30s, and 40s. The historical museum now boasts fresh blue and yellow paint and an original Richfield sign along with the distinctive Route 66 logo and features several exhibits and displays about the history of the station and the surrounding area.
