The Coachella Valley is known for hosting one of the country’s largest music festivals. There’s much more to the area, however, than just music. Indio, which is where the festival is held, is in fact just one small area of the Coachella Valley. The valley is an expansive desert stretch in California that offers a wide variety of things to do with scenic views and close proximity to major cities. There are plenty of museums, outdoor activities, state parks, national parks, a brewery, a distillery, tours, and more.
